SADEQUAIN: Holy Sinner and Lucifer Incarnate: SADEQUAIN and Art Mafia

This book, Holy Sinner and Lucifer Incarnate chronicles the crimes committed against Sadequain by the Pakistani Art Mafia and its frontman Sultan Naqvi. The night Sadequain passed away, and before he was buried later the same day, Art Mafia, aided by Sultan Naqvi, robbed 300 of Sadequain’s paintings from storage at Galerie SADEQUAIN in Frere Hall.

The crime wave against Sadequain did not stop after the robbery, instead, it expanded in direction and scope. The long list of crimes against Sadequain included embezzlement of his home, Sibtain Manzil, embezzlement of his amenity plot for Sadequain Art Institute and construction of illegal Shadi Hall on it, embezzlement of construction funds given by the Karachi City Government for the construction of Sadequain Art Institute, embezzlement of Sadequain’s artworks from his home, manufacturing of Sadequain’s fake artworks, exhibitions of Sadequain’s fake artworks, sale of Sadequain’s fake artworks, and a host of other crimes committed against Sadequain.
